This year, every city hosting New Year concerts has invited many entertainers. Many artists must once again travel from one stage to another. This year’s busiest artist must be Wang Lee Hom who is going from Taipei, then Taoyuan and later Taichung. But the three performances in total will earn him nearly 550,000,000 TWD. As for Lin Chi-Ling who is currently promoting her new movie, she will be performing on the Taipei stage. Her performance will include dancing Super Junior’s “Sorry Sorry”.
As for the dividing of performances between artists, A-mei and Stefanie Sun will not be included in the welcoming of 2010. Stefanie Sun is currently busy with her concert tour while A-mei does not accept schedules to New Year events. So Lin Chi-Ling will be this year’s ending performance. Although she has promotions with Jay Chou, she will reportedly perform the “Sorry Sorry” dance for low pay.
Mayday will bring their own orchestra for a special performance. During this New Year, they will not be rushing from stage to stage. Instead, the band has broken a new record of pay per performance: 250,000,000 TWD. Wang Lee Hom’s schedule makes him this New Year’s biggest earner. It seems that when spaces are made available, others hurriedly come to replace them. But it is also possible when different artists come to perform, new sparks will arise.
