This is the history of TwELFs. TwELFs is short for Twitter ELFs. It is the first fanbase for ELFs on Twitter universe.

It all started when @nengvaleska decided that she got nothing to do while loving Super Junior too much at the same time. She decided to hold a Super Junior trivia for her followers. Guess what? It was the first unofficial #sujutrivia EVER on the 23rd of August 2009. Fortunately, if it weren’t for this trivia, she wouldn’t meet the rest of soon-to-be-admins @dina_april, @myystiqueen, @tjoenit, and @utiuts. So these five desperate Super Junior fangirls decided to team up to hold #sujutrivia regularly. In order to do that, they made a special account whose sole purpose was for Super Junior-related stuff only. @nengvaleska came out with the nickname TwELFs and voila! TwELFs account was officially made on the 28th of August 2009.

The girls thought that there was just too much about Super Junior only to be shared in #sujutrivia. On 31st of August 2009, TwELFs got a Tumblr account which consisted of Super Junior news, photos, videos, and many others.

Thank you so much to each and every of your support, TwELFs got bigger in a matter of weeks. By the time TwELFs was one month old, it already got 500 followers on Twitter! Considering the number of followers, which just kept increasing everyday, the admins decided to move into TwELFs.com in order to facilitate TwELFs for a more convenient surf on the blog. And it didn’t stop there.

The main purpose of TwELFs was, is, and always will be to support and promote Super Junior to the whole world. Since it’s based its activity on Twitter, the goal was to trend Super Junior in Twitter Trending Topics List. With the help of every fangirl and for the love of Super Junior, #superjunior made it into Twitter Trending Topic for the first time EVER!

Things had gone smoother since then. People kept following TwELFs and Super Junior kept appearing in Twitter Trending Topics List, such as #sorrysorry, #sujuhankyung, #sujukibum, #happybdaysungmin, #standbykangin, and many others.

But do you know what’s the happiest day in TwELFs history EVER? It was the day Shindong decided to step into Twitter! To add more to the joy, Shindong is a Twitter addict! Ever since that day, Super Junior is LITERALLY just a tweet away!

Now here we are. If you’re reading this, then surely TwELFs still exists. Not only it gives you the latest news, pictures, and videos on Super Junior, it still holds #sujutrivia every Tuesday to keep you fun. It even added #sujufacts to enrich your Super Junior knowledge.
