It all started when Valeska was bored and ended up throwing a random trivia related to Super Junior on Twitter. In the beginning, the participants were only Uti, Dea, Maya, and Dina. In a few days, more people joined and we decided to make an account solely for the trivia purpose. Valeska brilliantly came up with the name ‘TwELFs’ while she was doing business in the restroom. Yes, you guess it right, it stands for ‘Twitter ELFs’. This faithful day happened to fall on August 28, 2009.

Dea thought it would be boring to just throw trivias, which we eventually called the sujutrivia. She thought we should give SuJu updates too. Thus, we made our first Tumblr. When we felt it wasn’t enough, we upgraded ourselves into a www.TwELFs.com. We gained more and more followers and readers real fast.

As the site got bigger, so was our team and friendship around the world. Especially when Super Junior members stepped into the Twitter universe. As the first and only HQ fansite and the biggest Twitter fanbase for Super Junior, we strive to update all ELFs on reliable SuJu news, pictures, videos, and trivias. We do our best to support Super Junior on and off Twitter, such as providing logistic support in Super Show 3 Manila, and we even became friends with Drunken Tiger JK (proof)! We even believe that Super Junior secretly know us lol! Things took an even more awesome turn when we joined forces with SJ Subs to make a fan forum for Super Junior in the form of Super-Legacy.com.

However, even fangirls have life, and at some point, living a real life is more important than chasing a fandom dream. As our Founders/Admins finished school one by one, we found we had less time for TwELFs, which caused the site a very loooong hiatus. A lot of people claimed to miss us, but we missed them even more. That’s why we always tried to come up with a new management, so that we could revive the site once again. If you’re reading this, then we welcome you to the better and bigger site of TwELFs!
