Leeteuk has transformed into an amateur father.

Super Junior’s Leeteuk, SISTAR’s Hyorin, Bora, Soyu, and Dasoom finally met their 13 months old on-screen baby Kim Kyumin on KBS JOY ‘Hello Baby’ broadcast on September 2nd.

‘Hello Baby’ is a parenting program with diary-format where at their 4th season, Leeteuk and SISTAR were chosen as the parents. They would start to experience a full-fledged child care.

Prior to Leeteuk and Kyumin’s meeting, staff had asked Leeteuk’s affiliate about their opinions on Leeteuk being a father. Eac of the responses varied. MBLAQ’s G.O and Park Jaebom replied with positive responses, “Teukkie-hyung has a mischievous side but also has a caring side so I think he will do well!”, “He seems to do a good job at calming down the baby by making sound like ‘Uchuchu’.”

On the other hand, his fellow teammates expressed their concern with jokes,

“I have a feeling that the baby would learn the bad thing first from him (Leeteuk)”

“The baby will know what the real world looks like quicker”, “I pity the baby”, and many reactions alike. Kyuhyun even refused to believe in Leeteuk’s ability and repeatedly emphasized on the importance of mother(s). Other than SISTAR, he recommended MissA and Secret as mothers.

Leeteuk’s sister Park Inyoung cheered for him, “Even I couldn’t imagine Teukkie as father but when he was given the responsibility to take care of a baby, he would think that ‘This is my baby’ and will be commited to it until the end”. Inyoung later chose IU as the best mother for Leeteuk-appa.

Meanwhile on its pilot episode, Leeteuk’s competence was tested through hidden camera. He would take care of Kyumin for one day long without interference from scripts. He would then be graded by Kyumin’s mothers. Could Leeteuk pass his first parenting-challenge?
