KangNam Police has revealed the results to the CCTV related to Super Junior KangIn’s assault case which happened on 16th September.

And on 21st September a police representative said, “With the CCTV, we acknowledge that KangIn has participated in part of the assault.”

Another police officer said, “From the CCTV tape, it can be seen that the opposite party has constantly been picking up a fight with KangIn. Even though KangIn was seen trying very hard to avoid a fight, he was not able to control his emotions eventually and participated in the fight.”

With that all 7 members involved in the case will be put on non-restraint.”

Meanwhile, on September 16th, KangIn was involved in an assault case while drinking in a bar in Seoul, and there were 2 customers at the bar who has gone up to him to pick a fight, and he was involved with an assault with 4 others.

According to allkpop – yes.. i hate to say this but this time, it’s actually a fact and not a rumor – Kangin will not attend Asia Song Festival which is scheduled today on the 19th of September. I’m speechless… Kangin only got in a fight for god’s sake..! Cut loose people.. I know the situation is not easy for him to perform on stage, but still… Having said that, if it’s his own decision then we, as fans, should respect it.

Although Kangin headed over to Hong Kong for Super Junior’s Super Show 2 concert, it has just been confirmed that he will not attend the 2009 Asia Song Festival.

SM Entertainment stated to Newsen on the 18th: “Kangin will not be attending the Asia Song Festival. Although Kangin will not attend, the rest of the Super Junior members will continue on as planned and perform on stage.”

Kangin will be returning to Korea immediately after the Super Show 2 concert is over. In addition, Hwang Jung Eum and Kim Yong Joon will be replacing Kangin for the Andre Kim fashion show.

Kangin who is currently under investigation for a recent assault case, which occurred at a bar in Seoul on September 16th, 2009, is still claiming innocence. Details from the CCTV footage from the night of the fight was supposed to be released today, however, it has been delayed as police have now hired experts to analyze the footage due to it being dark and difficult to view.

It is also reported that the police is done with the investigation on the CCTV footage and official statements regarding the result will be released soon. Again, let’s hope for the favorable outcome for Kangin… (gosh.. i’m super anxious!!)

Police have finished looking into closed circuit television footage they obtained of a fight boy band Super Junior member Kang-in was involved in two days ago, according to an official.

“The results are out but we cannot give you the exact details yet since the investigation is still in process,” senior police official Gwak Jeong-ki at Gangnam Police Station told Asia Economic Daily over the phone on Friday.

“We will make an official statement soon though,” he added.

The video will provide key evidence as to whether Kang-in, booked for assault along with three others on Wednesday, inflicted violence on one of the customers identified only by his last name Kim.

Kim has said he was hit by the singer while Kang-in has denied being violent during the brawl which took place at a bar early Wednesday.

Kang-in is a vocal of the 13-member group which debuted in 2005.

In the meantime, Kangin is probably on his way back to Korea as we speak.. and as much as i want to watch the fancams of Super Show, it will be too heartbreaking for me to see kangin performing on stage, smiling to the the fans while he’s actually struggling inside.

A TwELF reported that she saw Kangin and Leeteuk at the airport and she mentioned how Kangin lowered his head along the way and followed Leeteuk’s lead. This is Kangin we’re talking about.. No one or nothing could have ever made him lower his head like that… I’m sorry for the emotional touch I give into this writing, but it’s hard for me to see one or any of the boys going through such phase.

this is information from the interview with Kangnam police, there are some points which are much different than the previous statements

- According to the police, the fight did happen on the street (aka outside the bar) where a CCTV had caught the footage. It seems that Kangin and his friend were drinking in the bar when two other guests who couldnt find their room came in and there was a dispute between them. However, after Kangin came out of the bar, those two had followed him and started a fight. There was a passerby who said that he tried to stop the fight, thus being dragged into this case.

- The police said the friend who drank with Kangin isnt involved in this case because the fight happened outside the bar after they had drunk. They also said no one was dead-drunk when the fight happened and no one is seriously hurt .

- Besides, the police said that in the middle of the fight, there were 2 more people who had joined in….Kangin said that he doesnt know these people but the police are investigating about them so they cant say anything yet.

These are not the final words from the police. We can see there seem to be a lot more stuffs needed to be taken for further investigation. If the above article is right, then we can all let out a sigh of relief since even though Kangin was involved in the fight, he did it either to stop the fight or to defend himself. I read somewhere else that Kangin has been indicted for an assault, but it’s a bit too risky to just put them all here – they will all be contradicting themselves.

We will be back with reports as soon as we gather more information.
